Quartermaine was particularly passionate about migration travel, recognising the need for affordable travel options to Australia. He actively promoted migration, collaborating with the Australian government to make the process more accessible and cost-effective for those seeking a fresh start in Australia. Being ahead of his time, Quartermaine was an early advocate for marketing air travel, package holidays, and tourism to the general public.
